ABOUT US
Sri Harihara Sudha Seva Samithi, is a non – political charitable trust. It was founded on 17th November 1990 to promote the cause and welfare of the deprived classes of the society. It was originally made for donating money to other charitable institutions, helping the poor and needy, donating for temples, etc. This ashram aims to make all efforts to render good and sincere services to the needy and the helpless people of the society with the divine power and ardent support of philanthropic public.
In early 1996 seeing the plight of destitute senior citizen the trustees of the organization decided to launch "SATHYA SUDHAN" On 1stNovember 1996 the ashram for the aged was inaugurated by Judge Sri. Karpaga Vinayakam, Dr. Sundara rajan and Sri. Ranga Rao IAS (The candidate who did B. S. M. S is now working as a doctor in Herbo Care Hospital) to help the cause of the destitute senior citizens. It gives full support to them with personnel care till their life time and also does the last rights of the inmates also. Elderly destitute inmates reside in the ashram. All their wants are satisfied till their last days. Medical services to them are provided in a better way by getting admitted in the well equipped hospital. The last rights of the forty two inmates (42) were carried out by the Trust itself. After the demise of our inmate their eyes were donated to Shankar Nethralaya, Dr.Agarewal Eye Hospital and Rajan Eye Care Hospital. Its doing this kind of service with full hearted without expecting anything from them. In the year 2004 March, our second unit was inaugurated by Swami Virupakshanandhaji Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, Chengalpet .
